Winter Ride in the Flint Hills

Richard Waeltermann, a long-time club-member, is organizing a Winter Trail Ride on some of the local minimum maintenance roads around the  Emporia, KS area.  He’s looking to expand the route he carved out a month or so aga, and make sure there are a few limestone ruins to see along the way.  All trails on this route will be doable in a stock 4×4 rig of any type.  Please be sure to dress for the weather, and have footwear appropriate for rocky/uneven/muddy terrain.  Click here for the tentative route (links to another website).
