Brendon Hale
About Brendon
Q: What is your professional background? Where did you work, and what is your role there?
A: I am the warranty supervisor for Dahmer Powertrain in Lee’s Summit. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Technology and have spent most of my adult life in some type of automotive role.
Q: How long have you been off-roading? What drew you to the sport?
A: I have been going on basic trails on and off since the 90’s. I’ve had several Jeeps in the past and my current setup allows me to tie off road travel with camping.
Q: What are your passions and interests related to the club’s activities? What motivated you to join the board?
A: I have decades of knowledge from my personal trips as well as my involvement with my scout troop. I’m anxious to share my knowledge of camping and off roading and learn from the experience of others, as well.
Q: What is your vision for the club’s future? How do you hope to contribute to its growth and success during your tenure on the board?
A: I’d like to see the overlanding portion of the club to grow. I believe by educating people that are interested and offering opportunities to use that knowledge, the program will grow a larger following.
Q: Are you involved in any other community organizations or initiatives that align with the club’s values?
A: I am still involved in my scout troop. Through scouting, I have the opportunity to donate my time for community outreach programs, street cleanups, as well as helping prepare youth for future leadership.
Q: If you were an ice cream flavor, which one would you be?
A: If I was ice cream, I’d be rocky Road, as those are my favorite roads.
