The Sunflower Trail Ride is a special day where once a year, women from all backgrounds come together to enjoy a day of learning and adventure in a supportive and encouraging environment. Many leave the event with a motivating feeling of confidence and empowerment from what they accomplished.

In addition to a great day of getting out on the trails, the event features a BBQ lunch, a fantastic raffle, and vendors on hand so you can ask questions about products and get advice on outfitting your vehicle.

Throught this event, the club is able to sponsor the Driving Change Scholarship. Six $1,000 scholarships will be awarded for the 2024 graduation year. Click the link below for a scholarship application and more information. The application deadline is April 19, 2024.

We are thrilled to annouce that this year, there will be TWO options for attending Sunflower: a VIP/multi-day event — limited to just 40 participants — and the Single-Day event that we’ve previously offered!!! Please read the descriptions of each below and get registered today, because space is limited for both events!

VIP (Multi-Day) Event

August 16-18, 2024

Limited to just 40 participants, the VIP package will span the weekend, and includes the following:

- Early check-in on Friday, August 16, beginning at 5:00 pm
- VIP Early Bird Swag shop – with special savings opportunities
- Dinner for VIPs with the Board and our amazing volunteers
- Personalized air down and disconnect instruction
- Bedtime stories by campfire for VIPs (special discussion: Women in Wheeling, led by Lisa Addington and Katie Abraham)
- Light breakfast provided (muffins and coffee) at the KS Rocks Pavillion Saturday am
- Early access to the trails Saturday morning
- Event t-shirt
- Event decal
- Lunch Saturday from Rib Crib
- Group photo
- Special Night Wheeling session for VIPS
- (Dinner on Saturday night will be on your own)
- VIP Continental Breakfast Sunday am followed by your choice of more wheeling or winching techniques instruction and demonstration
- Trail experiences for everyone from novices/first-timers to folks who want some serious technical challenges

Single-Day Event

Limited to 150 participants, the Single-Day event includes the following:

- Event t-shirt

- Lunch Saturday from Rib Crib

- Trail experiences for everyone from novices/first-timers to folks who want some serious technical challenges

All Skill Levels Welcome

Whether you have never been off road in your vehicle before or are a highly skilled driver, this event is for you. We will have trail guides to help the new off roaders and the more experienced can go out with groups that better fit their skill level.
